Some men are called, but others are sent on a divine mission that transforms lives, shifts mindsets, and redefines faith. One such man is Reverend Joseph Eastwood Anaba—a passionate preacher, a visionary leader, and a true servant of God. His journey, from the son of an idol worshipper to a global voice in Christian ministry, is one of faith, determination, and divine encounters.

From Humble Beginnings to Divine Calling

Born on May 10, 1961, in Bolgatanga, Ghana, Pastor Eastwood grew up in a modest home. His father was a military man, deeply rooted in traditional ancestral worship, while his mother nurtured him with love and discipline. Growing up as the second of eight children, young Eastwood’s path seemed far from the pulpit—yet God had a plan.

His journey of faith began under the mentorship of the renowned Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, founder of Action Chapel International. Under his spiritual guidance, Eastwood discovered his passion for Christ and the deep hunger to spread the Gospel. This passion became his life’s mission.

A Scholar Who Chose the Cross

Brilliant and academically gifted, Eastwood pursued pharmacy at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). But even as a young pharmacist, he felt an unrelenting call to ministry. At just 20 years old, in 1988, he made a bold decision—he left behind a promising pharmaceutical career to preach the Gospel, a choice that would define his destiny.

Many saw this as a gamble, but Eastwood saw it as obedience. He believed that God’s people deserved freedom from the spiritual strongholds of ignorance, poverty, and oppression.

Birthing a Ministry of Fire and Impact

Determined to bring change, he founded NINTAM (Northern Deliverance in Tears Ministry)—a movement rooted in love, compassion, and intercession. The name, which means “Tears” in the Frafra dialect, reflected his deep burden for the lost souls of the north. The ministry gained momentum, drawing thousands to the Bolgatanga Sports Stadium for powerful encounters with God.

From NINTAM emerged the Broken Yoke Foundation, a ministry dedicated to breaking demonic strongholds and igniting the fire of revival. As the work expanded, the need for a structured church arose. Thus, Fountain Gate Chapel was birthed—a ministry that, decades later, continues to flourish with branches across Ghana and beyond.

After 22 years as the Chairman of Fountain Gate Chapel, Rev. Eastwood, under divine direction, transitioned into a new phase—founding Eastwood Anaba Ministries (EAM). With its headquarters still in Bolgatanga, EAM became a global ministry dedicated to spreading the Gospel with power and precision.

A Voice of the End-Time Church

Rev. Eastwood Anaba’s message is unique. His sermons are bold, uncompromising, and spirit-filled, challenging believers to live righteously and walk in the supernatural power of God. His teachings focus on:

  • The Holy Ghost – Igniting believers with the fire of the Spirit

  • Righteousness – Living with integrity and discipline

  • Spiritual Order – Maintaining structure and balance in the body of Christ

  • The Love Revolution – A movement spreading God’s love in an often divisive world

His “Love Revolution” campaign is one of his most impactful works—a call for Christians to embrace unity, selflessness, and true compassion. His influence extends far beyond the pulpit; he is also a prolific author, having written over 90 books, including God’s End Time Militia, The Quest for Supremacy, and The Love Revolution.

A Leader, A Mentor, A Family Man

Beyond ministry, Rev. Eastwood is a mentor to many—raising young ministers, business leaders, and change-makers. He serves as the Regional Director of World Harvest Church Fellowship, Columbus, Ohio, under Pastor Rod Parsley.

Despite his global impact, his heart remains with his family. He has been married for over 30 years to Rosemond Anaba, affectionately called “Pearl”—his greatest earthly treasure. Together, they have built a home filled with love, faith, and gratitude.

Leaving a Legacy for Generations

Rev. Eastwood Anaba’s story is proof that one man’s obedience can shift destinies. From a young pharmacist who chose the call of God, to a global preacher igniting revival, his life is a testament that faith, when coupled with passion and purpose, creates an unstoppable force.

Today, Eastwood Anaba Ministries continues to impact millions, but its foundation remains the same—a young man’s unyielding “Yes” to God. Through fiery sermons, transformative books, and a revolution of love, Rev. Eastwood Anaba is leaving a legacy that will echo through eternity.

For anyone wondering if God can use them, his life is the answer: God doesn’t call the qualified—He qualifies the called.
